Dr. Bernd Markscheffel is Assistant Professor (Akademischer Rat) at the Chair of Information and Knowledge Management at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Media at Technische Universitat Ilmenau, received a Diploma degree in Semiconductor Physics and Electronics from TH Ilmenau, graduated in Information Science and received a doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) in Applied Informatics. During the 1990s he works at the Chair of Information Methodology (Prof. Manecke) in field of Information Economy and established together with Prof. Manecke the Postgraduate course for Information Professionals (WFI) at TU Ilmenau. In collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Informationswissenschaft und Informationspraxis e.V. (DGI) he. Since 2000 he works at the Chair of Information and Knowledge Management. His main research and teaching interests include the broad range of the analytical potential of information in its complete life cycle, from semantic modelling to information retrieval as well as its practical application in Digital Libraries, Ontologies and Science Policy. Since 2007 he is COLLNET member and an active part of the COLLNET community. He attended several COLLNET conferences and related events like NISTADS Silver Jubilee in 2007 or the Advanced Tutorial Class at WISELAB in Dalian 2010. Furthermore he plays an active role at the ICITST conference series on Information Security, which he led as General Chair in 2010. He was Chair of the Steering Committee and responsible for all organizational aspects of the 10th International Conference on Webometrics, Informetrics, and Scientometrics (WIS) and the 15th COLLNET Meeting 2014 which was held from 3rd to 5th September 2014 in Ilmenau, Germany.

Prof. Paul Nieuwenhuysen is Professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Pleinlaan 2, B-1050 Brussel, Belgium. He has also worked as Guest Professor from 1991 to 2009 for postgraduate courses in Information and Library Science at Universiteit Antwerpen. He is author or co-author of more than 100 publications, including 2 dissertations and more than 40 refereed papers in international scientific/technical/professional journals and conference proceedings.

Dr Alejandro Bia is deputy director of the Department of Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science and a researcher at the Operations Research Center (CIO), both at the Miguel Hernández University (Elche, Spain). He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Alicante, a MSc and a BS in Computer Science from ORT University, a Diploma in Computing and Information Systems from Oxford University, and a Universitary Expert in Technological Innovation in Education from the Miguel Hernández University. His current research interests are text alignment, text-mining, stylometry and visualization methods applied to text corpora. Previously, he worked on the application of software engineering methods and techniques to digital libraries (his PhD Thesis topic), to enhance document structure design, multilingual markup languages, digitisation automation by computer means, digital preservation and digitisation metrics and cost estimates. He also worked on neural networks training and developed the ALOPEX-B optimization method.

Dr. Jean-Marc Commenthas been working as an IT-Specialist in the Swiss Federal Archives, since 1992. He was head of the IT-Service of the Swiss Federal Archives until 2000. He is now IT Integration-Manager and deputy of the head of the Innovation and Preservation Unit of the Swiss Federal Archives. He was IT-project leader of the Comintern Archives project in Moscow and also general project leader of the project of modernisation of the Albanian Archives. He acts as adviser for digital preservation for the project of the Archives of the National Police of Guatemala. He was also many times in India to share his knowledge with the librarian’s community of this country.

Dr. Anjana H. Bhattis the University Librarian: Electronic Resources in Florida Gulf Coast University, USA since year 2005. She has been Business Outreach Librarian at Florida Gulf Coast University, Fort Myers, Florida from 1997 - 2005

Dr. Nalini Mahajan is the Medical Library Director and Webmaster at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, Illinois, USA. She won the 2010 Librarian of the Year award from DuPage Library System, IL and received Outstanding Part-time Faculty Award at College of DuPage Library and in 1996. In 2002 she was a recipient of Scroll of Exemplary Service for the Hospital Libraries Section of the MLA. Currently she is serving as the President Elect on the Executive board of SLA Biomedical and Life Sciences Division. She is also on the Library Board of Advisors for Doody's Review Service, an e-journal and unique collection development tool featuring the most extensive database of expert reviews of books and software in the health science. In 2013 she was appointed to the ebook Illinois Advisory Committee. As a leader and front-line worker, Mahajan is very passionate about her profession and has helped make the Marianjoy library one of the top libraries in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. As a Webmaster, she manages the library Website as well as Information Connections, a Website for parents of children with development disabilities and chronic diseases.

Prof. Dr. Hildrun Kretschmer has studied psychology and is working in the field of bibliometrics, informetrics and scientometrics since about 30 years. She is Board Member of the journal Scientometrics and of the ISSI conferences. Further she is Founder and Co-ordinator of the Global Interdisciplinary Research Network COLLNET: "Collaboration in Science and in Technology"since 2000 as well as Editor of the COLLNET Journal of Scientometrics and Information Management since 2007. She is appointed as Honorary Professor at the Henan Normal University, Xinxiang, China and she was working as Professor at the Dalian University of Technology, China, from 2004-2009. At present she is appointed as Honorary Director and Special Fellow of WISELAB of the Dalian University of Technology, China.

Ms. Labibah Zain (Indonesia) is a lecturer at LIS Department of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University (UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Indonesia), vice director of Association of Indonesian Islamic Library University

Theo Kretschmer is Master in Education Theory and he is working since 2000 as the Science manager of the COLLNET-Center and as COLLNET conference manager. His work in co-operation with Hildrun Kretschmer deals with collaboration processes in science and in technologyand the joint publication list is showing more than 30 papers published in several international journals and proceedings.

Dr Nurdin Laugu is a lecturer at UIN Sunan Kalijaga since 1999. He received his M.A. degree at Leiden University - the Netherlands(2005) and Ph.D at Gajah Mada University - Indonesia (2013). Currently, he has published several works in several books and journals. The latest works are Power Representation in Managing Libraries of Islamic University in Yogyakarta (2015), The Religious Role of Library amongst Syuhada Mosque Library Users in Kota Baru Yogyakarta (2015); The Urgency of Paradigmatic Issues in Library Studies Encountering Global Conpetitiveness of ASEAN Economic Society (2014).
